Invoicing Updates: Listings and Marking Things Paid

The only thing better than sending invoices to customers is getting those invoices paid. BeanCounter lets you make invoices, print them as PDF, and even send them to customers through email – and now it helps you keep track of which ones have been paid (and more importantly, which ones haven’t).

BeanCounter Invoices Listing

Under your “Reports” menu you can now see a list of “Paid Invoices” and another list of “Unpaid Invoices”. Type anything into the filter box at the top of each listing to shrink the list down to something more manageable: type a customer name in to see all of their invoices, type in a date to see all the invoices from then. It’s fast and flexible.

When an invoice has been paid, simply find it in the “Unpaid Invoices” listing, click to open it, click on the logo to bring up the editable version – and then use the “Mark as Paid” button. The timestamp is added automatically.

Now if only it was as easy to get all your customers to actually pay those invoices…
