Now Secured With SSL

A lot of things have been happening recently that make BeanCounter a more full-featured web application, and here’s a big one: every transaction with the server is now protected with SSL encryption. Now all of your activity is safe from anyone who might be snooping on your wifi connection – extra handy for all those site visits.

From now on whenever you access app.beancountertech.com, you’ll see a little lock icon on your browser, which means that your connection is secure. If you look at the web address, you’ll notice that it now says https: instead of http:. Even if you try to access the regular unsecured http: site, you will be automatically redirected to https:.

For those interested in this kind of thing, it’s a Comodo Positive SSL certificate.
